It was a good day as a test flight in the rebuilt 185 proved to be a very smooth ride after some mixture tweaking earlier this week. It was a great day for flying!Image attachment

Jason would know. I have learned more about listening to him. 😊 He's in the air right now for his final stage check for his Instrument Rating before his check ride. (He is in the skies over Terre Haute where they are not experiencing this weather)

Clear skies here is NC! ☀️

A shelf cloud will usually be associated with a solid line of storms. The wind will come first with rain following behind it. It may appear to rotate on a horizontal axis. Check your car windows !

I knew I should have paid attention in ground school.

From 69 and DuPont @ appx 9:15

It's definitely a wall!

Same here in Angola!

Shelf cloud

Same in St Petersberg

Happening here.

Williams did that for me, did a great job on the repair, and sent it back in a reasonable time. Nothing but a great experience and service.

This is awesome idea! We drove ours to you and prayed all the way there and home that no one would run into us

Now that’s great service.

While not in the complete path of totality in northeast Indiana, we did see it get darker (automatic lights turned on) and colder with just a little sliver of the sun still showing with about 98% coverage. See MoreSee Less

You and Roy run a great business!

While walking the runway last night with Roy, Piper laid down to let him know something wasnt right. The vet confirmed she had an enlarged heart and fluid everywhere in her body, and her organs were shutting down quickly. She went peacefully in Roy and Shellys arms. She was the best shop dog, greeting all visitors and employees whether they wanted to be greeted or not, and even making the staff webpage! Piper will be missed by all of us here at Airframe Components.Image attachmentImage attachment

Steve Noves

Owner

Great work as always! Airframe Components fixed my wings years ago and the plane flew better after the repair than it ever did before.

Brendt B.

Terrific company. Can’t say enough good things.

Gerald M.

New York

In late 2021, my Piper Archer was found to have a corroded main spar. A worldwide search for a solution left me with the option to either rebuild or purchase a ready-made replacement wing. Taking the latter course, Airframe Components by Williams, Inc., proved to be the ideal company to deal with. At all times they treated me with personal attention and excellent care. The owner even took the time and trouble to phone me trans-Atlantic on two occasions to ensure I was happy with the service they were providing. My aircraft now flies truer than it did before and I can look forward to enjoying it for many more years to come. My wife and I cannot thank all the team at ACW enough for making that happen!
