Our shop cat, “Eddie Rickenbacker,” had quite an adventure the last three days! The little fellow stowed away in a wing crate and was on his way to Mesa, Arizona, but we tracked him down on ABF Freight’s dock in Lansing, IL. It seems reasonable to drive two and a half hours in the middle of a snow storm to pick him up!
Thank you to the ABF team who graciously freed him and took such great care of him this morning. He is happily headed home. We love ABF even more!
Eddie was finally homeward bound!! He was fun to hang out with this morning. Very friendly and well behaved. He can come back and visit anytime. Just maybe planned instead of being a stowaway. Here are a couple pictures I took while hanging out with him.

It was a good day as a test flight in the rebuilt 185 proved to be a very smooth ride after some mixture tweaking earlier this week. It was a great day for flying!

A shelf cloud will usually be associated with a solid line of storms. The wind will come first with rain following behind it. It may appear to rotate on a horizontal axis. Check your car windows !
